Matt Diamond, CPA. Based in San Francisco, working with clients remotely and in person.

Matt Diamond is an accomplished financial executive with over 15 years of experience driving strategic decision-making and operational excellence across diverse industries, including technology, private equity and financial services.

He previously served as Director of Finance and Investments at Trinitas Partners, a $2 billion private equity firm, where he managed investment strategies for sustainable food and agriculture assets spanning California, Hawaii and Europe. Discovering his love for tax work (yes, you read that right) while managing Trinitas’s portfolio, he earned his California CPA license in his off hours.

Matt had the good fortune to cut his teeth across top-tier financial institutions. At JPMorgan, he launched a groundbreaking instant payment product for SaaS clients, driving $12 million in annual revenue growth through strategic pricing optimization. His expertise in financial strategies was further honed as investment banker at Citi, where he facilitated high-profile M&A transactions and IPOs, including a $1 billion software company acquisition and a $3 billion IPO.

Matt’s earlier career at Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse solidified his reputation as a top-tier financial analyst. At Deutsche Bank, he was instrumental in expanding equity trading revenue and earning recognition as one of Wall Street's most effective analysts in Institutional Investor (now Extel). He also won plaudits for coaching and mentoring junior talent.

When he’s not thinking about finances and taxes, he’s playing tennis in the greater Bay Area, working to lower insulin prices with BreakthroughT1D, a prominent diabetes advocacy group, and sharing his passion for mechanical watches with collectors around the world.
